The first-ever Dads@Play event will be held in Manhattan on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at SolarOne, located on E. 23rd St and the FDR and YOU and your family are invited!

The event is hosted by Toy State, an innovator and industry leader in the manufacture of licensed and highly stylized lights and sound vehicles, including toy vehicle lines Road Rippers, 007, DUB, CAT and Cat Preschool.

Toy State created the event to encourage dads to take an active role in parenting and make playtime a priority with their kids. The event will feature outdoor activities, including car races, sports-related carnival activities, face painting, art projects and a silent auction, from which all of the proceeds will be donated to STRIVE’s “Stronger Fathers, Stronger Families” New York-based initiatives.

Suggested donation: $3 for children, $5 for adults, with all donations going to STRIVE International (Families affiliated with STRIVE are not asked to make a donation)
